Colorado Photographer Braden Gunem's Photography Portfolio - If there is magic on this planet it is contained in water. Water sports wether in the backyard pool or on the sea, lakes, and rivers are special. I prefer long expeditions down long remote rivers via raft and kayak, or expedition sea kayaking in majestic fjords A close second is the ocean which affords the opportunity to voyage by sail boat with wind power to surf and dive to spear fish. In either culture the gypsy dream is alive and well.

I can have a great time shredding some groomers, but I really like traveling in the backcountry to a hut for some great power action. Ski mountaineering and Ice Climbing are on the short list of things I want to do more of. You can keep the snowboarding and cross country skiing for yourself

Colorado Photographer Braden Gunem's Photography Portfolio- Outdoor Sports and Lifestyle, Social Documentary, and Adventure Travel images by commercial and editorial photographer Braden Gunem. Boulder and Crested Butte, Colorado. I shoot photographic stills and film video of the outdoor adventure the sports that I like to do from kayaking and whitewater rafting to downhill and cross country mountain biking, backcountry snow skiing and snowboarding and ice and rock climbing.
I have been lucky enough to be a photographer for Warren Miller Entertainment for some recent films. Which has taught me allot about skiing with the professional cinematographers and hauling around a heavy camera that hates the cold. When the action is slow and I have extra time I like to travel and volunteer time shooting for NGOs and non profit aid agencies that do positive work in developing countries. I have spent time in India, Thailand, Cambodia and Nicaragua. They are usually very happy to get some fresh imagery for their marketing and websites. I also shoot everything from food to architecture, weddings and portraits to pay the bills. I have enjoyed photographing, for the architects portfolios, some modern mansions and spectacular sustainable Colorado homes (mostly green built) some of the grid in the Rocky Mountains and some on the front range in Denver and Boulder, CO. I grew up in Arkansas, but have lived in Japan, California and Colorado. I split my time between Boulder and Crested Butte, Colorado.
